      Warren Lotridge Meriam married Diana Poore Bye* Decmber 1876. They had two sons - John Lotridge, born December 26, l88l, and William Warren, born September 3O, 1893. After the boys were grown they moved to Drinkwater and worked on the Sandborn farm. There they celebrated their Golden Anniversary December 25, 1926 Diana Poor Bye passed away January 15, 1927; Warren Lotridge died October 11, 1938. John Lotridge married Mabel Mary Rengle** in Ontario, moving to Pence where they worked on various farms, finally staying on the Wilson farm west of Pence (where Dennis Brentnell farms). There they raised five boys Clarence Orvilie, September 1 5,1904; William Frances (Erank), May 10, 1907; Percy Reginald, May 2, 1909; Gordon Rector, February 10, 1911 and Lester Leland, March 10, 1914. The boys attended Kenilworth school which was one half mile . John and Frank moved to the Wyman K. Smith farm which they rented. Mabel died May 17, 1949 after a illness, John died of cancer at his house Pense January 17 1962. Frank still lives in this house south of the railroad . Clarence met Elisabeth Ross Kerr, a teacher at Kenilworth School. Her father was W.B.Kerr, a teacher, who took up farrning. He homesteaded what is now the Ray Howard farm. After she finished school she attended the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.. She also acquired her teaching certificate, which brought her to Kenilworth SchooL She married Clarence (Pete) Meriam November 4, 1926. They farmed what is known as #7, located west of the Thibodeau farm. Two children were born to them them Mabel Jean, March 27, 1929 (died July 25, 198) John Wallace, born October 22, 1935 (died January 1965). Jean attended Martindale School. She choked death on a prune pit and is buried in Cottenwood Cemetery.

      Jack (John) attended Pense schooL Each winter Bessie and Pete moved into town so Jack wouldn't miss school. He was very athletic; very active in sports including curling and baseball. He pitched and played first base for the Pense Eagles. He met Kathleen Buynzeel and they were married June 30, 1956. He worked for the Co-op Refinery farmed with his father. They lived in Pense in the summer; Regina in the winter, until they bought a housc in Belle Plaine. His love of curling was evident, always bonspieling. The dream of his life, to curl in the Gold Nugget Bonspiel in Moose Jaw. An invitation took him and his rink to the spiel in 1965. Following one of these games he and stuck in a blizzard and died. Days of search by hundreds of people finally located him. He was buried lie in Memorial Gardens. Jack and Kay had five daughters — Marna Gene, May 28, 1957, Beverley Aileen April 27, 1958, Sherry Lynn, April 25, 1960, Debra Anne,May 12, 1961 and Jackie Dawn, April 20, 1965 With the help of Frank they carried on the farming, w hile the girls attended Belle Plaine school. Lindale and Peacock high in Moose Jaw. Kay met Fraser Ogilvie,. a widower of Pence with four children — Deanna Message~St. Albert Alberta; Caro1 Seaberly. Pence and Ronald and Kerry at home. They were married in August, 1974. The girls then attended Pence Schoo1 and Balfour High in Regina. Mania works in Moose Jaw for City Hall; Beverley works at Regina Univerc;ity; Sherry works for the Co- operative ;Debbie works for the Palliser Wheat Growers; Jackie attends school in Regina. Clarence bought NW 1/4 13 and NE1/4 W 22 moved into the big house known as the Bob Bigham farm. Bessie was involvcd with the church and various organizations in Pence. One winter Bessie and pete ran the cafăae. Pete found he had cancer of tbe throat, and laynx was sent to to Minneapolis, St. Paul for successful surgery. He and bessie lived with Jack and Kay in Belle plaine while he was recuperating. Later the cancer flared up and following a lengthy illness he died January 20,.1962, and is buried in Memorial Garndens. Bessie lived alone for a whi1e, then moved into the Ina Grattcrn Gage Home, Moosc Jaw and various private homes, finally into St. Anthony s Home died August 16, 1977. She survived by one full brother, living in Calgary, and half - brothers, Wally Kerr and Doug Kerr of Toronto, and a half sister Eikcn Erickson of Regina. William Francis (Frank) farmed, with his father, Wyman L. Smith Farm for years. He helped Kay with the Clarcnce Meriam farm after Jack s death until he retired to Pence, where he still lives. Percy, with brother Gordon, joined the army in the second world war, seeing action overseas, and came home safely. Percy met and married M ay Stewart, residing in Rouleau, where he operated a Barber shop. They had four children — Avis Terry, garnet and Alana. They all attended school in Rouleau and following end of their schooling they one by or North Battleford. Percy and May retired to North Battleford where they still live. Gordon worked for Stan Connolly, north on Stoney Beach, then gradually established a carpentry business.He and his wife Marjorie had four children, Kathy, Sandra, Shelly and a baby that die dfrom burns. Gordon died suddenly August 16, 1977 Marj still lives in Stoney Beach. Lester joined the air force but did not see active duty. Following his discharge he stayed in calgary, learning the carpentry trade. There he met Charlotte Moir Bell. They married July 4 1942. they had two children - Larry and donna Lynn. Lary now lives at Cochrane outside of calgary and Donna Lynn resides in Calgary, operating a book store.
